A miscarriage of justice.
That's the NZ Police Association's contention relating to Teina Pora who remains in prison for the murder of Susan Burdett.
The NZ Police Association President, Greg O'Connor, has said that some police were uncomfortable with Pora still being in prison and has called for an Independent Ministerial Inquiry.
He has also said that police involved in Pora's arrest and those working now are uncomfortable with Pora still being in prison.
Both the Māori Party and the Labour Party have called for an independent inquiry.
Te Kāea has just spoken to Jonathan Krebs, the lawyer for Teina Pora, to get his reaction to the Police Association's statements put by their President Greg O'Connor.
