KKM Council welcomes demise of National Standards

Northland kura creates first Māori iBook for National Library exhibition

A Northland school has helped to create the first te reo Māori iBook resource for The National Library of New Zealand's He Tohu exhibition.  The entire Te Kura Kaupapa o Whangaroa visited Wellington today, where they viewed the Treaty of Waitangi and other documents their ancestors signed. 


5000 Christmas presents donated to Ōtara kids

Thousands of children in South Auckland will receive Christmas presents during the week as part of an initiative run by 'Christmas Ōtara Present Drop'.  More than 400 children from Ferguson Intermediate received the surprising news today.
