NRL Auckland Nines' build up in full swing

The NRL Nines' build up has begun today at Eden Park, with Mayor Len Brown present to showcase the teams stripes worn by league club the Glenfield Greyhounds and share the idea behind the names of the pools in the tournament being taken from iconic places within the Auckland region. Piha, Rangitoto, Waiheke, Hunua.

This year also included a 3 test 9’s series between the Kiwi Ferns and the Australian Jillaroos. Kiwi Ferns coach Rusty Matua of Te Arawa highlights the exposure that this opportunity gives for Women's Rugby League. The Kiwi Ferns head into camp this weekend and Sarina Fiso is excited but nervous as the team is being selected this  weekend.
