Overjoyed fans in Canterbury turned out in the thousands for the second national celebration of our rugby heroes, the Mighty All Blacks.
For the AB Cantabrians in the squad, it was a great feeling to be on home turf.
School children, construction workers and more lined the streets and scaffolding cheering the All Blacks as they made their way through the parade.
Before the parade commenced, reporter Raniera Harrison met some enthusiastic young fans who were preparing their own welcoming haka for their idols.
Sunny Day Phillips (Ngāpuhi), Timi Kahu (Kai Tahu) and Finn Campbell (Ngāti Raukawa) spoke to Raniera about their preparations.
