I tīmata nā runga i te ngākaunui i tēnei wā kua puāwai te kaupapa i wawatahia ai e Warren Tumarae.  Mō ngā tau e toru kua hapai ia i tētahi kaupapa whakapakari kore utu ki Rotorua.

Kua huri te ao o Warren Tumarae whai muri i tōna whai kia noho kore utu ngā mahi ako whakapakari tinana, e toru tau ki muri, “It was a time when I kind of depressed and I've always used health or fitness as a way of getting myself back on my feet, I had a couple of mates that were going through similar issues so we all got together and I starting running some programmes for them down here.”

I tipu haere te kaupapa o kore utu Fit Rotorua na whai anō ka rapu a Warren i ngā taputapu whakapaoho kia puta te pūtake nui o te kaupapa.

“On our Facebook we've got fifteen hundred that we can do some positive messaging to and around fitness and nutrition and motivation.  We have group numbers so late week we had about fourty plus come down and we run every Tuesday to Friday from 6pm to 7pm,” hei tā Warren Tumarae (Te Arawa, Tūhoe).

Kei te puku o te taone o Rotorua te kaupapa kore utu Fit Rotorua e tū ana, ko te manako a Warren kia puta tēnei kaupapa ki ngā hapori whānui o Rotorua.

Hei tā Tumarae, “I've always been kind of community minded and cause I love it, it doesn't really bother me to run these sorts of things but we have got a lot of whānau out there so it just about tying things have less barriers whānau to engage.”

E tūwhera ana ngā karaihe ki ngā reanga katoa.
